This is an uplifting, positive, helpful platform our 49 households can use to communicate and possibly help each other during this quarantine. If you have a need - like eggs for example-post it. Another household might have a surplus of eggs, but need something else. Another neighbor might have children who are looking for new ways to self entertain. We can pass books, games, ideas, etc. to one another costing each of us $0. We can leave items on doorsteps so none of us need to “go out” unnecessarily and keep ourselves healthy.  Regardless of the ages of our households we can all help each other (no obligation) and at the very least keep our spirits up. If you wish to be included please indicate.

When we do good for others we become the best version of ourselves.

Neighbors,

Are you considering adding to your garden?   If so, please consider choosing plants which are native to our area,  thereby attractive to our local wildlife.  Also, consider choosing  plants which are noninvasive. Although exotics can be quite attractive,  they are best kept in containers so as to avoid taking over.

These  native, noninvasive plants may take a “little getting used to” but  we’ll be helping support our natural surroundings and as a benefit,  we’ll enjoy seeing more wildlife and perhaps enjoy a savings, as many of these plants are drought tolerant.

Neighbors, parents and children working in tandem, geared to get the work done! Nothing but smiles in everyone’s faces, to top it all off we had the perfect day; nice and cool just right for being outdoors. Jennifer had done a marvelous job of making lunch, snack drinks for everyone. Thank you all for participating in this wonderful event, if you couldn’t join due to prior engagement, plan ahead for the next event!
